Watch as your child's talents flourish!

The Core Knowledge Sequence is a detailed outline of specific content and skills to be taught in language arts, history, geography, mathematics, science, and the fine arts. As the core of a school’s curriculum, it is intended to provide a coherent, content specific foundation of learning, while allowing flexibility to meet local needs.

Teachers

Latin, Encore Team Lead

James Booth
Salve! I am so excited to be your Elementary Latin teacher again this year. This year will be my 4th year at RMCA, and it is my 8th year as a teacher overall. I originally grew up in Ohio, where I attended The Ohio State University and graduated with a major in Classics and Education minor. I moved to Colorado in 2019 and have been loving it ever since then. When I am not at work, I love to be outside and active hiking, playing golf, riding my bike, or just enjoying the sunshine. I also love to travel and spend time with family. I can't wait for this year!

Chad Linkey
Hello, my name is Chad Linkey and will be the Elementary PE teacher this year. This will be my second full year at RMCA and I am very excited to start the year of strong! This will be my 9th year as an elementary PE teacher and have coached basketball for boys and girls for 7 years. Sports and Exercise are my passion and a large portion of my life goes towards either watching or playing sports myself. My wife and I just moved to Colorado about 2 years ago from Phoenix, AZ and we have loved every minute of it (especially not having to deal with 115 plus temps anymore). I am really looking forward to building a strong PE program and having a fun and safe place where the students can come and learn and develop in the realm of PE!

Librarian

Kamrine Finney
Hello RMCA Families! My name is Kamrine Finney. I have been part of the RMCA community since the school opened in 2006 and have taught Library classes here at RMCA since 2011. I have loved watching your students grow throughout their years and am looking forward to another great year with lots of reading, learning, and exploring. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Music

Jorrin McGee
Hello, I'm Ms. McGee! Or Ms. M, for short. I want your kids to love music and all of its aspects as much as I do, so I strive to make my music classroom fun, engaging, informative, and safe for your growing musicians! My background is almost all orchestral, as I have played violin for 17 years and traveled all over the world with a youth orchestra in high school. My favorite type of classical music is orchestra music by Russian composers (Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Rachmaninov, etc.), and my favorite casual music is Christian rock (tobyMac, NeedToBreathe, Thousand Foot Krutch, etc.) Although I am an Air Force brat, I call Colorado Springs home. I love cooking, knitting, watching movies and tv shows, and kayaking with my husband. I am so excited to spread my love of music to your students!
