Molara Awosefaju- President
Molara Awosefaju has lived in Colorado Springs for over 20 years. She works as a Certified Nursing Assistant and has done so since 2004. She has the privilege of spending most of her time at home raising her three children, all attend RMCA. She is a very active member of her local church, helping to organize their baby dedication and water baptism ceremonies.
Dr. Scott B Cathey has been a Doctor of Chiropractic for almost 20 years, additionally he is a licensed mortgage loan originator. Each career gives him the chance to manage businesses and work with people, two of his favorite things. His wife Heather also owns her own business, which he serves in an advisory role. All three businesses sharpen his problem solving, and decision making skills.
Jamie Fischer - Treasurer
Jamie Fischer, a prior Army veteran, is a graduate of Troy University with a major in IT Resource and Personnel Management with a minor in Computer Networking and Administration. He relocated his family to Colorado Springs in November of 2018 to open up his companies mortgage branch. The experience that he brings to the board of directors includes a finance and technology background. His wife Courtney and him have three wonderful children, of which 1, currently attends RMCA. Outside of work he enjoys investing, discipling men, sports, hunting, and reading.
Randi Tyson - Director
Randi Tyson grew up in rural Kansas, but has spent her adult life in Kentucky, Louisiana and now back in her husband’s home state of Colorado. She is a wife and busy mother to five children, who have all attended RMCA. She is a resident of a local neighborhood that borders RMCA and is an active volunteer at the school. Randi has been involved in many aspects of education since earning her Bachelors in Mathematics Education at Fort Hays State University in 2003, these include; teaching at a public school, teaching at a private classical school, tutoring students from failing schools in math and reading, homeschooling her own children for a season, and helping to run a cooperative program for homeschool families with a strong emphasis in classical education. She hopes to bring these years of experience and passion for educating children to benefit the RMCA community.
Gina Starnes - Director
Gina Starnes is a graduate of Southwestern Assembly of God University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and an associates in biblical studies. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Playing soccer was a big part of her life, and soccer helped pay for much of her college. Gina and her husband moved to Colorado Springs in 2009 to pursue missionary work at UCCS. She worked for six years at The Vanguard School in Colorado Springs as a 5th grade teacher before starting a family. Gina’s husband is a Family Pastor at a local church in Monument, Colorado and they are both very involved in their church community. Gina is now a mother of three, two of whom attend RMCA. She is currently working part-time as a preschool teacher and outside of work she enjoys running, hiking, and spending quality time with her family.
Jade Baker - Director
Jade Baker is a Colorado Springs native and a military spouse (her husband Brad is now retired). She is a mother of five, one of which already graduated from, one that attends now, and three that will soon attend RMCA. Jade has a B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in leadership development from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and has been a licensed Realtor in Colorado Springs since 2011. She is active at her church and has served as a member, board member, and/or officer to many organizations. She plans to use her experience and strong work ethic to benefit the RMCA school and community.
Beau Smith - Director
Beau Smith is a Colorado Springs native as is his wife, Ashlynn, and their three daughters, Ava, Brynna, and Faith. They have been a part of the RMCA community since 2013 when Ashlynn started teaching Kindergarten at RMCA and Ava was in First Grade. Being married to an educator, Beau is an advocate for all educational stakeholders. His background is in strength and conditioning where he has helped develop an allied health model for strength and conditioning professionals in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation settings. Beau has transitioned his coaching skills from the gym to the field of leadership which has led him to pursue an MBA. Outside of work Beau enjoys taking part in all his daughters’ dance and performing arts activities, travelling with his family, and building and maintaining friendships with a wide network of people.
